Who can pay with HyperPayment?
Any person or enterprise, possessing a bank account or a credit account, and enrolled in the account provider's on-line banking services.
Is it secure to use HyperPayment?
When you proceed to make a payment for your purchase on a merchant's website, you do not have to transmit confidential information, such as a credit card or a debit card number, to the merchant, or any outside party. You will only have to transmit this information to your financial institution, whose on-line banking services you already use with great confidence.
Does HyperPayment enter in contact with my financial information?
No. HyperPayment never enters in contact with your financial information. HyperPayment allows you to connect to the Internet site of your financial institution, so that you can personally confirm the payment of a purchase or a bill. After that, HyperPayment relays the acceptance of the transaction by the consumer's financial institution to the merchant.
Do I need special software or a card reading device?
No software installation or card reading device (for cards with a computer chip or a magnetic strip) is necessary. There is only one prerequisite: to be enrolled in the on-line banking services provided by your financial institution.
How much does it cost to make a payment with HyperPayment?
The usage of the HyperPayment system is absolutely free for the consumer (no service or membership fee). The consumer assumes, when applicable, the current service fees charged by the financial institution. The operational costs of the HyperPayment system are assumed entirely by the merchant. These fees are smaller than the service fees of the currently widespread modes of payment. Thus merchants can save money.
Debit and/or credit?
When using HyperPaymentMC, consumers can choose to pay directly from their :
- Bank account
- Line of credit
- Credit card account
These options are available on the website of the consumer's financial institution.
